New Gallery in town center

A new gallery has opened up recently, close to the central strip of Nanjing road/Yanan Road. ‘Andrew James Art’ is on 39 Maoming Bei Lu.

Owner Andrew James is a former auctioneer at Bonham’s.  “Shanghai is the future capital for art in China,” he told the Shanghai Daily, here.

The gallery’s current show is by Zhou Yilun, a recent grad of nearby Hangzhou Art Academy. The works are online here.
