Make an artwork on a vinyl record. Places are still available.

Hardware Gallery, Sydney is holding a group exhibition in May 2010 as part of our annual vinyl month. 2009 saw us turn the gallery into an indoor vinyl market, complete with vinyl inspired artwork. For 2010, we are doing something different. We are seeking artists to use a vinyl record as their canvas. The deal is quite simple: It will cost you $30AUD to be part of the show. This cost will include your vinyl record, which we will supply to you. You can paint, draw, mark, scratch, etch…do anything you like with your record to create an artpiece. We will then curate all of the works into an exhibition. The exhibition will coincide with our annual Record Room promotion, which will attract music lovers, record collectors and art fans into one location.

Places will be strictly limited and entry is on a first come, first served basis.
Cost per entry is $30
Deadline for completed artwork is April 9th
Download the entry form at – www.hardwaregallery.com.au
and please forward this email to any other artists who may be interested in participating.
This exhibition will also be open to interstate and international artists.
